Despite the difficult work on the scarce land, Dida had never complained and was remembered for his characteristic and charming smile, good will and patience. The house in Vodice was built by Dida’s grandfather Nikola more than 100 years ago. Recently the house has undergone a complete renovation. The entire Dida Boža house and store resembles a traditional Dalmatian spirit. Moreover it is a special added value in presenting and interpreting the historical life of Vodice’s common people, through the presentation of old photographs, collected and preserved by Dida through many years of his active participation in Vodice’s musical scene, of which he was one of the founders. Rare and valuable photographs from the early 20th century are being exhibited on the walls of the shop attracting and educating locals on the history of their place.

In addition to the shop, Dida Boža house also hosts a Caffee bar, inviting the locals and visitors to its charming ambience. Relax and try organic coffee, full of rich flavors.
